Paul and Bianca celebrated their ceremony and wedding reception on board the Sydney Glass Island vessel with 112 family and friends on Saturday the 6th of March 2010.
Bianca, her bridesmaids and her father boarded the vessel first at Campbell’s Cove, the Rocks to enjoy a glass of sparkling, they then proceed downstairs to the lower level so not to be seen just prior to Paul, the groomsmen and the guests boarding at Man O War Wharf, Opera House. On boarding the guests were ushered to the top deck to be seated for the ceremony whilst the bride prepared downstairs for her walk down the aisle. The ceremony then took place on the top deck of the vessel just prior to sunset, after the ceremony the bridal couple and guests enjoyed pre dinner drinks and canapes on the top deck of the vessel as the sun went down.
Bianca, Paul and their party then proceed to the main level of the vessel for a formal entree of Butterflied Prawns on Mesculan Leaves w/ a Chilli Lime Dressing & Vinaigrette or Pumpkin & Rosemary Risotto Cakes Served on a Bed of Rocket w/ Garlic Aioli (pictured below). Followed by a main of Eye Fillet of Beef w/ Creamy Mashed Garlic Potatoes & Mushroom Demi Glaze Accompanied w/ Carrots or Roast Garlic and Pepper Chicken on Kumara Mash Accompanied w/ Green Beans. The meal was finished with a dessert of chocolate mud and marble mud wedding cake with fresh strawberries and cream, freshly percolated coffee, a selection of tea’s and after dinner chocolates.
Paul and Bianca’s whisper white theme included brandy vase flower arrangements in white and green for each guest table, white fitted chair covers finished with ivory organza sashes, ceiling flounce with fairy lights and a traditional 4 tier white wedding cake embellished with dimonties and piping. Paul and Bianca’s guests also received a thank you gift of divine chocolates in ivory boxes to take home.
