Vessel Hire	Sydney Glass Island is a family owned and operated business and prides themselves on providing attention to detail to ensure your wedding experience is everything that you envisaged. Packages are based on a minimum 5-hour charter period. Alternate cruise times are welcome, rates on application. A minimum of 150 adult guests apply for Friday and Saturday evenings from November to December. Guest numbers below this level on application. A minimum of 120 adult guests applies for Saturday evenings in January/ February / March / September / October & November. Guest numbers below this level are on application. A minimum of 120 adult guests applies for Thursday evenings in November & December. Guest numbers below this on application. A surcharge will apply on Public holidays and Special dates or for minimum numbers. Rates are available on application. Final numbers need to be advised 30 days prior to the charter date and confirmed 15 days prior. A 5% surcharge applies for all bookings in 2009 onwards Assuming the consumer price index (CPI) rate stays below 3%
Cuisine	Our Menu selection is tailored to cater for all types of cuisine, budgets, cultural and religious beliefs with meals prepared on the vessel in our full comercial kitchen for each function. We can cater for Kosher, Indian, Halal & Asian Inspired Cuisine upon request, on a full function basis. We also cater for vegetarian guests and guests with special dietary requirements. We pride ourseleves on providing food of the highest quality & plentiful quantity. Food taste & presentation is of the highest standards. Sydney Glass Island welcomes children on board to help celebrate your special day. Children under the age of 2 years are free. Children under 10 years are charged at half the adult rate and have a choice of either an adult main or chicken and chips meal. Children under 18 years are charge half of the beverage component and receive a full adult meal.
Beverages	As a premium quality venue we pride ourselves on the choice of wines. If you have a preferred wine, please inform your event co-ordinator and they will advise on availability and cost. The beverage list is available on application. Clients are unfortunately not able to provide or sell their own beverages due to liquor license laws and responsible supply of liquor considerations unless there are religious reasons.
Features	Vessel features include cordless PA system, sound system, full thermal heating or air conditioning as required, floral arrangements, decorations, themes, events and wedding arrangements designed to suit.
Co-ordination	During your cruise there will be a designated ‘Cruise Director’ who will cater to all your queries and requirements. Please do not hesitate to ask.
Safety	The Safety of our guests is the most important consideration on our charters. In this instance the Master of the vessel has the ultimate authority. The masters authority governs all staff , clients & their guests. If there are any issues or areas of possible concern please bring this to the immediate attention of the Master, Cruise director or staff.
